What You’ll Learn
- PPF overview: film types, thickness, gloss vs matte, and where PPF makes sense
- Tools & setup: squeegees, slip/tack solutions, towels, lighting, and work habits
- Surface prep fundamentals (cleaning, decon basics, and safe handling)
- Film handling: positioning, stretching control, and avoiding contamination
- Slip vs tack: when to float, when to lock, and how to control the film
- Squeegee technique: pressure, angles, and how to prevent fingers/lines
- Edges & finishing: clean edges, wrap where appropriate, and avoiding lift
- Troubleshooting: bubbles, debris, misalignment, and how to correct mistakes
Hands-On Practice
This is a hands-on class. You’ll practice with instructor coaching and corrections so you can build confidence through repetition.
